Original: Taika Waititi Says His STAR WARS Movie Is ‘On Ice’

Filmmaker Taika Waititi has described his long-gestating Star Wars film as being 'on ice', suggesting the project is currently shelved rather than in active development. The director, known for Thor: Ragnarok and an Oscar for Jojo Rabbit, was first attached to a Star Wars feature years ago, but the film has never entered production. The comment fuels speculation about the future of his installment in the franchise.

Why now: Waititi's remark is a fresh update on a long-delayed project fans have been following for years.
