Vols move past Alabama win, brace for hostile South Carolina crowd

Original: Vols ‘flush’ Bama win, expecting hostile environment at South Carolina

Tennessee is putting its win over Alabama behind it and turning attention to South Carolina, where the Volunteers expect a hostile road environment. Coach and players say the Alabama victory is 'flushed' as the team prepares for a tough Southeastern Conference matchup in Columbia against a Gamecocks side likely to bring intense energy at home.

Why now: Tennessee just beat Alabama and fans are focused on whether the Vols can avoid a letdown on the road at South Carolina.
