Android RSS readers with proxy settings mostly serve podcasts
Original: 🧅 @ kiwiapple87 Yes, but the honest answer is that the Android readers with a real proxy setting are mostly podcast apps

AntennaPod is cited as having exactly the requested feature, documented under Settings > Downloads. For regular feeds, the suggested better fix is moving feed fetching onto a server instead of relying on per-app proxy support.
Why now: People are comparing Android feed reader apps and workarounds for fetching feeds through proxies.
