Musk promises every American child a SpaceX share
Original: Elon Musk says he’ll give every kid in America a SpaceX share in 2027
Elon Musk says he will give a share of SpaceX to every child in America in 2027. The pledge, reported by Mashable, has no clear details on funding, mechanics or legal feasibility, and SpaceX remains a privately held company. Reactions are likely to range from excitement over a bold wealth-sharing gesture to scepticism about whether such a promise can realistically be delivered.
Why now: A striking, unverifiable pledge from one of the world's richest people naturally sparks debate and scepticism.
