Zelenskyy says US deliberately delaying interceptor missile deliveries

Original: Ukraine war briefing: Zelenskyy claims US deliberately delaying interceptor missile deliveries to Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused the United States of deliberately delaying deliveries of interceptor missiles to Kyiv, according to a Guardian war briefing. The claim, if confirmed, would mark a serious friction point between Kyiv and Washington as Ukraine continues to face intense Russian aerial attacks and depends heavily on US-supplied air defence munitions to protect its cities.

Why now: Accusations of a US holdup on vital air defence weapons amid the ongoing war with Russia are highly contentious and newsworthy.
