Woman Shelters Behind Police After Scolding Them in Milan Clashes
Clashes broke out in Milan, and footage shows a woman who had been shouting at police moments earlier retreating behind officers for protection as tensions escalated. The image of her switching from scolding the police to seeking shelter behind their lines has drawn wide attention and commentary about the chaos of the confrontations.
Why now: The irony of a demonstrator berating police and then hiding behind them during street clashes is being widely shared and debated.
