Critics Say Bezos Will Be Remembered as Trump Enabler
Original: Jeff Bezos’s legacy: he’ll be remembered as a Trump supporter and enabler. That’s it. # JeffBezos # WillLewis # AdamONea
Commenters are arguing that Jeff Bezos's legacy will be defined not by Amazon or his space ventures but by his support for Donald Trump. The criticism centres on his ownership of the Washington Post, with Will Lewis running the paper and Adam O'Neal in a leadership role. Critics are calling for boycotts of Amazon and Whole Foods, framing Bezos as an enabler of Trump and a threat to press freedom.
Why now: Ongoing anger over Bezos's stewardship of the Washington Post and his perceived alignment with Trump.
