Iran puts air force on highest combat alert amid border reports

Original: "Iran Issues CODE 100, Highest Combat Alert as Fighter Jets SCRAMBLE Iranian F-14 Tomcats, F-5s, and Kowsar fighters pat

Iran has reportedly issued Code 100, its highest combat alert, scrambling F-14 Tomcats, F-5s and domestically built Kowsar fighters to patrol the border with Iraq. The move follows reports of Israeli and American jets flying over southern Iraq. The claim is circulating widely on social media, with observers weighing whether it signals a serious escalation or precautionary posturing, as no official confirmation from Iranian or US authorities has been verified.

Why now: Tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States are high, so reports of Iran's air force at maximum alert draw intense attention.
