Baseball fans welcome a World Series without the Yankees or Dodgers
Original: OK this World Series does not include the Yankees or the Dodgers. I am excited to see this one. # baseball
The World Series this year does not feature either the New York Yankees or the Los Angeles Dodgers, and at least some baseball fans are welcoming that. One fan voiced excitement about watching a series without the sport's two biggest-market clubs, reflecting a common appetite for fresh matchups and new contenders on baseball's biggest stage.
Why now: Baseball fans are discussing the novelty of a World Series without the sport's two most prominent teams.
