A new entry in the 2019 Famicase Exhibition presents 'HOKPSI', a fictional Famicom cartridge design by artist Chi Uko Datsuma of the circle Chusan Tomu no Kai. The imagined game casts players against HOKPSI, a cyborg artificial intelligence revived from Oedo, racing through the scenic megalopolis of Fugakk's Thirty-Six Views. The annual exhibition invites designers to create imagined cartridge label art.
Why now: The Famicase Exhibition showcases inventive fictional game label art that draws attention from design and gaming fans.
