A tech commentator has tallied the cost of fully equipping oneself with Apple's top hardware this month: a pair of 512 GB iPhones at 2,500, a 16-inch MacBook Pro at 3,000, a Mac Studio Ultra at 5,500, and an Apple Studio Display XDR at 3,300, totalling 14,300 dollars. The estimate excludes peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard, which would push the price higher, underscoring how expensive a complete premium Apple setup has become.

Why now: People are reacting to the strikingly high total cost of buying Apple's full range of premium devices at once.
