Alice Cooper describes his stage persona as a Jekyll and Hyde character
Original: # BBC # News # Entertainment # Arts 'Alice Cooper is a character, like Jekyll and Hyde' https:// w.st/rm5hF
Alice Cooper says the shock-rock persona he performs under is a character, likening it to Jekyll and Hyde, in an interview carried by BBC News's entertainment and arts coverage. The rock veteran, born Vincent Furnier, has long distinguished his offstage self from the theatrical figure known for ghoulish costumes and stage stunts. The remark highlights the split between the man and the act that has defined his five-decade career.
Why now: A new BBC interview with a legendary rock performer is drawing attention to his reflections on fame and stagecraft.
