Fantasy readers joke that all job creators are Dark Lords
Original: Are all Job Creators also Dark Lords, or is it just most? 🤔😜 @ reading @ bookstodon @ books @ fantasy @ worldbuilding @
A tongue-in-cheek question is circulating among fantasy fans and writers: are all so-called job creators secretly Dark Lords, or just most of them? The quip riffs on the trope of sinister overlords who rule through gifts and employment, drawing on Lord of the Rings imagery and workplace humor. Readers in fantasy and worldbuilding communities are sharing it as a witty jab at corporate employer culture.
Why now: The joke merges beloved fantasy tropes with current cynicism about employers and 'job creators', making it highly shareable.
