Star Wars Battlefront 3 may be in development

Original: battlefront 3

Reports suggest Star Wars Battlefront 3 could move forward, with Bungie named as a possible studio to take on the project if DICE passes on it. The original Battlefront series, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, has been dormant since 2017, and fans have long called for a third instalment. Interest has spiked in both the UK and the US as speculation grows over which studio might revive the franchise.

Why now: Fresh reports that Bungie could develop Battlefront 3 have reignited fan interest in the long-dormant Star Wars shooter series.
