Europe to decide the future of the .IA domain on April 6
Original: El lado del mal - El dominio .IA se juega su futuro el 6 de abril en Europa # IA # AI # InteligenciaArtificial # Artific
A European initiative around the .IA internet domain is heading to a key moment on April 6, with supporters arguing the extension would give Europe greater digital sovereignty, economic benefits and defence of its cultural identity. Spanish-language security and technology circles, including commentator Chema Alonso's readership, are circulating the debate and linking it to broader discussions over DNS governance and Europe's independence in AI infrastructure.
Why now: A decision date has been set for a domain seen as symbolic of European digital sovereignty in the AI era.
