US flight turned around over hijacking threat
Original: пассажир
A flight in the United States was urgently diverted after a reported threat that a passenger might attempt to hijack the plane. Russian-language coverage is also following a separate fatal road accident in Karelia, where two passengers died when a Toyota slid into a roadside ditch filled with water.
Why now: A hijacking threat forcing an emergency diversion is alarming and rare aviation news.
