Original: Bessent says a Democrat-led Congress could do little to stop Trump agenda

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that even if Democrats won control of Congress, they would have limited ability to block President Trump's agenda. The remarks, reported by Reuters and other outlets, frame upcoming congressional elections as unlikely to stall the administration's policy push, prompting debate over the limits of legislative checks on presidential power.
