Gardener turns summer prunings into mulch before winter apple pruning
Original: Was feeling "chipper" this morning, so the summer's accumulation of prunings got processed into mulch. Now we can start
A gardener reports spending the morning turning the summer's accumulated prunings into mulch, clearing the way to begin fall and winter apple tree pruning in earnest. The chore was done under the watch of the household cats, jokingly called the 'Chip-Monks'. It is a light seasonal gardening update.
Why now: It is apple pruning season, so gardeners are sharing seasonal yard work.
Evidence
- Was feeling "chipper" this morning, so the summer's accumulation of prunings got processed into mulch. Now we can start the fall/winter apple tree pruning for real. Also can't do any chipping around here without being supervised by the Chip-Monks. (sorry) # Gardening #… · richrollgardener@toot.wales · 21
