PyTorch Foundation Adds Nine New Members

Original: PyTorch Foundation Welcomes Nine New Members As Momentum Builds Around Open Source AI Center of Gravity

The PyTorch Foundation, part of the Linux Foundation, has announced nine new member organisations joining its open-source deep learning ecosystem. The announcement, distributed via PR Newswire, frames the additions as evidence that PyTorch has become a central hub for open-source AI development, with growing industry backing for its framework and community governance.

Why now: PyTorch is a dominant framework in the AI boom, so expansions of its governing foundation draw attention from developers and companies investing in open-source AI.
