Following Brigitte Bardot's death, attention in France has turned to the battle over her legacy. Her widower, Bernard d'Ormale, has shut down discussion of what she would have wanted after her death, saying he knew her better than anyone amid disagreement over her inheritance. Paris Match also reports anger from close associates who feel they betrayed the icon, with one exclaiming it was disgraceful to act this way in her home.
