Ben-Gvir mocks Gaza destruction in AI-generated video
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has shared an AI-generated video that mocks the destruction in Gaza, according to Al Jazeera. The clip depicts the devastation in the Palestinian territory in a mocking tone, prompting criticism of the far-right minister, whose inflammatory statements about the Gaza war have repeatedly drawn condemnation from Palestinians, rights groups and international observers.
Why now: A sitting Israeli minister sharing content mocking civilian destruction in Gaza is shocking and politically inflammatory amid the ongoing war.
