The Japanese comedy duo Chidori were caught off guard when a well-known figure unexpectedly walked into the studio during their show Aiseki Shokudo, joking that he had come only to say hello. It was the first such surprise incident in the programme's nine-year run, halting the taping's flow, with the pair remarking that 'everything stops'. Daily Sports reported the moment.
Why now: A rare unscripted disruption on a long-running TV show makes for headline-worthy entertainment news.
