Original: Adam Silver fine with LeBron James' helicopter travel to Philadelphia: 'It's perfectly appropriate'

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said LeBron James' use of a helicopter to travel to Philadelphia was 'perfectly appropriate', responding to questions about the star's travel arrangements. Silver indicated the league has no issue with how James got to the city, easing any speculation about whether the mode of transport violated team or league travel norms.

Why now: People are discussing whether a superstar's unusual travel method breaks league norms, and the commissioner's public blessing settles it.
