Princess Anne attended a banquet in Oman wearing the meander tiara, a diamond heirloom that belonged to Queen Elizabeth II. Reports say she chose the piece, valued at around £4 million, as a tribute to her late mother. The tiara, originally a gift to Princess Andrew of Greece, is rarely seen in public, making its appearance at the state event a talking point among royal watchers.
