Joke About 'Going to Work' Ends at the Bar
Original: “Bye I’m off to work” Goes to the bar
A joking post is making the rounds in which someone says a cheerful 'Bye, I'm off to work' before heading straight to the bar instead. Readers are sharing it as a relatable gag about skipping real responsibilities, with many echoing the sentiment that pretending to have a job is easier than having one.
Why now: The joke about faking work to drink instead resonates with people joking about unemployment and work fatigue.
