TVSN shopping channel to close down
Original: tvsn shopping channel closing down
TVSN, Australia's television shopping network, has announced it will shut down, describing the move as a difficult decision. The home shopping channel has been a fixture on Australian screens for years, selling products direct to viewers. The closure adds to a string of departures from free-to-air and pay TV as broadcasters cut costs and audiences shift to streaming and online shopping.
Why now: The channel itself has just announced its closure, prompting reaction from viewers and industry watchers.
