Verstappen braces for bumpy United States Grand Prix weekend

Original: RaceFans (@racefansdotnet): NEW: “I’ll probably need to order a new spine” – Verstappen braced for bumpy weekend at COTA

Max Verstappen says he is expecting a physically punishing weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, joking ahead of the United States Grand Prix that he will 'probably need to order a new spine' because of the track's notoriously bumpy surface. The Red Bull driver's remarks highlight lingering concerns over how demanding the circuit remains for the current generation of Formula 1 cars.

Why now: Formula 1 is racing at COTA this weekend and the track's rough surface is again a talking point for drivers.
