Writer argues calling Zionism non-racist defies logic
Original: “Saying Zionism isn’t racist is like saying white supremacy isn’t racist” by Ricky from Council Estate Media on Substack
An essay by the writer behind Council Estate Media argues that describing Zionism as not racist is comparable to describing white supremacy as not racist, calling such claims absurd. The piece is circulating among pro-Palestine discussion groups alongside tags on Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Yemen and UK politics, where commenters are sharing and debating its framing of Zionism as an ideology of racial hierarchy.
Why now: The essay's provocative analogy about Zionism and racism taps into ongoing global debate over Israel and the Palestinians.
