Death penalty claim over forehead kiss in Mecca sparks debate
Original: தண்டனை
Tamil-language reports are questioning whether a man could face a death sentence in Mecca after kissing someone on the forehead. The claim, circulating as a question rather than a confirmed case, has drawn attention among Tamil-speaking audiences, with many debating whether such a punishment is real or an exaggerated rumour. No official Saudi confirmation has been cited in the reports so far.
Why now: A shocking claim about an extreme punishment for a seemingly minor act is circulating and prompting debate over its accuracy.
