Women lead the charge for Saudi contemporary art

Women are driving the rapid growth of Saudi Arabia's contemporary art scene, taking on prominent roles as artists, curators and cultural leaders as the kingdom opens up socially and economically. Their rise reflects broader reforms under Vision 2030, with new museums, galleries and events positioning Saudi Arabia as an emerging hub for art in the Middle East.

Why now: Saudi Arabia's social and cultural transformation under Vision 2030 is drawing fresh global attention to the growing role of women in the arts.
