Ukraine's parliamentary Budget Committee has backed amendment No. 1283 by MP Purtova, obliging the government to work out an increase in servicemen's pay from 1 January 2027. No final decision on the raise has been made yet, but the committee's support is a first procedural step toward higher military salaries in the 2027 budget.
