Original: Hamas terrorist who barbarically paraded Shani Louk’s half-naked body killed by IDF
The Israel Defense Forces say they have killed the Hamas militant who was filmed parading the body of Shani Louk, a German-Israeli woman, through Gaza City after the October 7, 2023 attack. Images of Louk's body being displayed on a pickup truck became one of the defining and most condemned scenes of the assault. The announcement has renewed attention to her killing and to the fate of victims of the attack.
Why now: The IDF's announcement of the militant's death revives memory of one of the most widely seen images of the October 7 attack.
