Lancashire will not offer James Anderson new contract
Lancashire have decided not to offer veteran fast bowler James Anderson a new contract, according to a report in The Times. The move leaves the future of England's all-time leading Test wicket-taker uncertain at county level as he continues his career in the twilight of a remarkable spell in English cricket.
Why now: Anderson is one of England's greatest cricketers, so any decision about his playing future attracts immediate attention.
