Construction begins on homes at former Badlands golf course site
Original: Construction starts on new housing project at former Badlands golf course
Construction has started on a new housing development at the site of the former Badlands golf course in Las Vegas, the Review-Journal reports. The project will convert long-idle golf course land into residential housing, a closely watched change for the northwest valley where the closed course has sat unused for years.
Why now: Locals have long followed the fate of the closed Badlands golf course, and work finally starting is a notable development.
