AMD has unlocked FSR 4.1 support for its Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards through a driver update, according to a report by Gadgetchecks. The move brings AMD's newer upscaling technology to older RDNA 2 cards, which were previously limited to earlier FSR versions. Gamers with RX 6000 series GPUs can now benefit from improved image quality and performance, though AMD has not officially detailed how the implementation compares to RDNA 3 or 4 hardware.
Why now: Owners of RX 6000 cards are excited that AMD's latest upscaling tech is reaching older hardware via a driver unlock
