US senators call for investigation into Ukraine's Starlink restrictions
A group of US senators is calling for an investigation into reports that Starlink access has been restricted for Ukrainian forces, according to BBC News. The demand raises questions over whether SpaceX limited the satellite internet service in areas occupied by Russia or for other operational reasons. The move puts renewed scrutiny on Elon Musk's company and its role in Ukraine's war effort, at a time when US political support for Kyiv remains contested.
Why now: Fresh scrutiny of SpaceX's political influence and its critical role in Ukraine's wartime communications.
