WoW Forever to hold free stress test next week

Original: wow forever stress test

A free play test of WoW Forever, a fan-made World of Warcraft project, is scheduled for next week, with GameSpot noting players will be able to join for free — though there is a catch to the offer. The project is running a stress test to check server capacity, drawing wide online attention.

Why now: Players are curious about the free-to-play offer and the limits attached to it ahead of the test.
