Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reportedly paused for roughly 15 seconds of silence when asked a question about Donald Trump, in a moment circulating widely online. Observers are reading the hesitation as a sign of tension or uncertainty in relations between Kyiv and the former US president, particularly against the backdrop of ongoing US support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.
Why now: Tension between Zelenskyy and Trump over US support for Ukraine is a hot topic, making the awkward pause politically charged.
