North Florida Fair rolls out new code of conduct and security technology
Original: North Florida Fair increasing safety measures with new code of conduct and security technology
The North Florida Fair is tightening safety this year, introducing a new code of conduct alongside added security technology. Organisers say the measures are meant to keep attendees safer and set clear expectations for behaviour on the fairgrounds. The announcement comes as fairs and large public events across the region review their security practices ahead of the season.
Why now: Local interest in safety at a major community event has grown as large public gatherings tighten security.
