Lauren LeFranc, showrunner of HBO's 'The Penguin', is reportedly in talks to produce a television series centred on the DC villain Poison Ivy. If confirmed, it would extend the recent run of Gotham-based crime and character dramas following the success of 'The Penguin'. No network, cast or release details have been announced yet.

Why now: Following the acclaim for 'The Penguin', fans are eager for more Batman-adjacent TV projects, and Poison Ivy is a long-requested lead character.
