Prime Video Presses Ahead With Mass Effect TV Series
Original: Prime Video Is Moving Forward With Its Mass Effect TV Series Even After EA Shut Down Legendary Developer BioWare
Prime Video is continuing development of its Mass Effect television adaptation despite EA's decision to shut down BioWare, the legendary studio behind the game franchise. The news, reported by IGN, means the series will move forward without the original developer's direct involvement, raising questions among fans about the show's creative direction and fidelity to the beloved sci-fi role-playing games.
Why now: Fans are reacting to the irony of a TV adaptation proceeding after the studio that created the franchise was shut down.
