The Penguin Showrunner to Produce DC's Poison Ivy TV Series

Original: The Penguin Showrunner Will Produce DC's Poison Ivy TV Series — What World Will It Be Set In?

Lauren LeFranc, showrunner of HBO's The Penguin, is set to produce a new Poison Ivy television series for DC. The main open question being raised is which continuity the show will belong to: the same universe as The Penguin and Matt Reeves' Batman films, the new DC Studios slate under James Gunn, or a standalone world of its own.

Why now: Unclear, though interest likely stems from The Penguin's success and debate over which DC universe the series will join.
