Supporter presses 50501 movement to restore its Mastodon account
Original: day 3 of reposting @ 50501movement content until they bring back their mastodon account or they let me run it :blobcat_r
The 50501 movement, the US protest network behind recent anti-ICE and 'No Kings' demonstrations, has had its Mastodon account unavailable, prompting a supporter to repost its content daily until the account is restored or they are given control of it. The reposts also amplify material about immigration agents at polling places, tying the account dispute to the movement's ongoing organizing ahead of voting.
Why now: Followers are drawing attention to the movement's absence from Mastodon while trying to keep its protest messaging circulating.
