Japanese fishing brand Daiwa has launched a full model change of its Super Versatile baitcasting reel, its first in six years. The new version adds the SV BOOST-I braking system and a Gravity Balance Body, which the maker says improves cast control and handling. Anglers and tackle media are calling it the long-awaited flagship of the Super Versatile line, with coverage dubbing it Daiwa's 'real ace' for a new era.
Why now: It is the first redesign of a popular reel in six years, drawing strong interest from fishing enthusiasts.
