Ja Morant in the spotlight amid Lillard pairing debate

Original: ja morant

Ja Morant is trending across the US, Canada, Brazil and Australia as NBA discussion centers on Damian Lillard's return to the Portland Trail Blazers from an Achilles injury and speculation about him teaming up with Morant. Charles Barkley fueled debate by arguing the two star guards could not coexist on the same roster, mocking the hypothetical pairing on national television.

Why now: Fresh talk of Damian Lillard possibly teaming up with Ja Morant, plus Barkley's criticism of that pairing, has put Morant back in the conversation.
