Volt leader Laurens Dassen lashes out over Ukraine indifference

Original: Laurens Dassen @laurensdassen.voltnederland.org @ laurensdassen Woest word ik van deze onverschillige, waardeloze roofdi

Laurens Dassen, Dutch politician and leader of Volt Nederland, has publicly voiced fury at what he calls indifferent, worthless 'predators' whose 'heartless, money-driven hunger for power' is carried out 'on the backs of Ukrainian citizens.' His sharply worded statement is drawing attention in Dutch political circles, reflecting frustration over waning support for Ukraine. The exact target of his criticism is not specified in the post.

Why now: Frustration over reduced Western support for Ukraine is a live political controversy, and a national party leader's angry intervention draws attention.
