An illustrator has posted a hand-drawn ink battlemap of a boat, the eleventh entry in a month-long series of miniature maps for tabletop role-playing games. The piece is aimed at game masters running systems like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Daggerheart, who use such maps to stage encounters. It has drawn early attention in tabletop RPG art circles.
Why now: Tabletop RPG communities are following a daily challenge of mini battlemaps, and game masters are always looking for new maps to use at the table.
