Mestemaker Rises, Arch Manning Falls in 2027 QB Rankings
Original: Top 10 QB Prospects for 2027 NFL Draft: Drew Mestemaker’s Rise, Arch Manning’s Fall
A new ranking of the top 10 quarterback prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft puts North Texas's Drew Mestemaker on the rise while Arch Manning of Texas slides down the board. Mestemaker's rapid ascent has shaken up early draft expectations, with Manning — once considered a near-certain number one pick — no longer viewed as the clear frontrunner. Early college performances are reshaping the 2027 quarterback conversation.
Why now: Early-season college performances have shifted expectations for the next highly anticipated quarterback class.
