Airbnb tightens cleaning rules for hosts

Original: pulizia

Airbnb is introducing new rules on cleaning that take effect on 20 November, limiting what property owners can demand from guests. Hosts will no longer be able to impose certain cleaning obligations before checkout, a change that has sparked debate in Italy about the balance between hosts and guests in the short-term rental market.

Why now: A new Airbnb cleaning policy takes effect on 20 November, affecting hosts and guests in Italy.
