Astronomer captures swan and eagle pair before autumn
Original: Probably the last go at this pair until autumn. 🦢 🦅 # seestar # astrophotography # space
An amateur astronomer has photographed a pair of celestial objects, likely the constellations Cygnus (the Swan) and Aquila (the Eagle), noting it is probably the last chance to image the pair until autumn. The images were taken with a Seestar smart telescope. Fellow space enthusiasts are engaging with the seasonal timing, as these summer sky targets soon shift out of view for Northern Hemisphere observers.
Why now: Seasonal shift is ending visibility of these popular summer sky targets, prompting amateur astronomers to share final images.
